Dear NotaNess:
"I've seen worse posts & replies here people, he's just proposing a scenario to see how level headed people would handle it."-NotaNess
Correct! Although, it is not an easy subject to
discuss it is a reality that most individuals
want to turn a blind-eye to.
There is a section on this discussion board
dealing with that topic in addition to the
law firms that advertise about it.
I was proposing a scenario if you were say
a Bill Bowden or Barbara Andersen.
However, most people will criticize the one
mentioning it and hope matters will somehow
go away.
Just my thoughts ...

Reality can be creepy no doubt. However, creepiness
does not change reality.
How many times will individuals criticize how the
elders, The Watchtower or the congregation handle
this type of reality?
Quite often.
Now you have a chance to make the corrections to
resolve this issue and not complain about it.
What will you do?

Dear Trevor:
I am experimenting with a different approach on asking
questions. I am making the questions upfront and
personal because they represent a certain reality.
Does it make individuals uncomfortable? Yes, but it
get individuals talking and thinking and not acting
on pure emotion.
The perspective is a different one I will admit, but
if individuals feel it is very harmful to consider
another side of a possible reality I will resign
from posting reality questions.
Sorry, if you have been upset by the approach.

Mom & Dad He Touched Me— And Got Away With It
He was a handsome brother, well-spoken, with a good job and
a position in the congregation.
Like most, of the friends in the congregation I thought he was a
spiritual brother with a good motivation.Admittedly, I was attracted to him, as were most of the sisters
in the congregation. I knew though that he was too old for me
I was 12 and he was 23 when he was appointed a ministerial
servant. So many times, when we were alone he placed his hands on me.
He touched me in ways you are not supposed to touch a person.
He said it was “all right” because he loved me.Mom, Dad this had been going on for 2 years and when I told you
about it, you did not believe me.
Then I went to the elders and they said if there were not two
witnesses to these events to let it go because I would be bring-
ing a reproach on to the congregation.I contacted MSNBC who did a story on it and I was the one who
was disfellowshiped for causing divisions in the congregation.Love,
Your Daughter

DO NOT CONTINUE SENDING EMAILS TO ME OR ATTEMPT TO CONTACT ME OR MY FAMILY.
by esw1966 inisn't it 'nice' to finally get letters from home!?????.
this is the entire letter written to me by my sister:.
"do not continue sending emails to me or attempt to contact me or my family.".

Dear ESw1966:
I think it was a few weeks ago that you wrote
something about your father. It moved me and
I cannot help but feel that you and I have
some common ground regarding some past and
perhaps, present issues.
I could not imagine what you are going through
right now. It is hard enough for me to lose
"friends" let alone family.
Take care and best wishes,

You Need To Give Credit To The Society For Your Education.
The Watchtower and Awake magazines have been helping individuals receive a G.E.D
or high school diploma. Where did you learn the art of public speaking?
You learned it through the Watchtower Society.Discipline and study were always the primary foundations of the organizations apart from
the field ministry.
If you followed the counsel from the Society, you and your children should have excelled
in the art of speaking, studying, responsibility and discipline. It is saddening to see the lack of honesty some have toward not giving the Society credit were credit is due.
Signed,
Your former brothers

Dear friends:
I am testing different thoughts to see how individuals will react to different
situations that are presented. I deliberately place the audience into a pre-
dicament and it is their job to find a solution to what could be a real
life situation (*see else where's letter).
Examples: "How would you handle the abandonment of your parents?"
"How would you react to a "worldly"man's perspective?"
It is just presented differently that is all.
I think a great deal can be learned and a certain level of honesty comes out
from these types of threads instead of asking a direct question.
Thank you for your responses.

Former Jehovah’s Witness— Are Hypocrites
It amazes me how these people who once donned three-piece suits
with book, bag and Bible in hand are now singing the blues .These former Jehovah’s Witnesses, who would annoy a man and his
family early on a Sunday morning and even on Christmas day to hear
how the world was going to end and how if they did not become
Jehovah’s Witnesses would die at Armageddon, Ha!
Now these same people come on the discussion board wanting hand
held sympathy crying about how they lost their friends and family’s to
their precious Watchtower Society.Well, I say you got what you deserved. You made your bed now lay in it.
Signed,
A “worldly” man
How would you answer to the above charges?
